All I can do now, is all I can do now

Acceptance of an overfull to-do list is the first step in handling it.

Railing against it won’t help; doing so only leads to frustration, and resentment toward the circumstances or people you think put those tasks on your list.

Take a deep breath. Relax into being OK with your to-do list, both as it is now, and as it will be.

Next, recognise this is not a time management issue. It never was.

People talk about time management, but the true measurement of our effectiveness is achievement management.

Focus on managing what you want to achieve with your time, not just what you do with your time.

Now read that last line again. Let it sink in.

Now, look at your list. Does it reflect what you want to achieve, or just what you think you need to do?

My best wishes, Paul
