How Learning Workflows Can Turn Training Into Sustained Workplace Performance

Headshot of Paul Matthews

In this interview with Jamie Ryder as part of his Training Impact Gap Project, Paul Matthews explains why traditional training so often fails to create workplace change, how learning workflows can bridge that gap, why L&D needs to focus on organisational outcomes, and how to use AI and evidence with better judgement.

Paul commented “I really enjoyed the conversation 🙂

We covered everything from outcome clarity and learning transfer to how learning workflows support competence, governance and reassessment in contexts like the NHS.

We have to do so much more to shift our focus to workplace performance and environment design.”
