A small change to my Monday tips

I have been writing these Monday tips since June 2009.

When they began, they were mostly about management development. And of course, a big part of becoming a better manager is developing yourself, so over time personal development found its way in too.

In the last couple of years, I have alternated more deliberately between personal development tips and L&D tips.*

From now on, I am going to make a small change.

I will email the tips every other Monday, and they will focus on L&D.*

That is not because personal development has stopped mattering. Far from it. It is because I want these emails to have a clearer centre of gravity, and I think I can be most useful to you there.

So, the tips are not going away. They are just becoming a little less frequent and a little more focused.

Thank you for reading them, replying to them, sharing them, and being part of this small Monday rhythm over the years. Some of you I know well. Others feel like friends I have not yet met.

The next tip will be an L&D one.

And here is the question I will leave you with this week: where might a tighter focus make you more useful?

My best wishes, Paul

*The L&D tips are posted here
