Which way? Or is it both ways?

Sign posts one way and another way

Some say that how you think affects how you feel, which affects how you act, which affects the results you get from your actions.

They conclude that how you think is the place to start when seeking specific results. This is the ‘visualise it first’ approach.

Others say that the results you seek should govern which actions you take, and those actions will affect how you feel, and ultimately how you think. This is the ‘just start doing stuff’ approach.

Interesting?

What works for you?

I recognise both patterns within me, so perhaps the real question is which pattern is most useful given the circumstances?

Which pattern is most natural/comfortable for me?

Should I use the other pattern as a more likely disruptor to get change?

Try some experiments this week 🙂

My best wishes, Paul
