Tap into your alumni to power your success

View from a cave or whole in the ground towards a blue sky with white clouds

There is a story about someone who was in a difficult situation, a deep hole, and couldn’t get out. Nobody could, or would, help him. Then an old timer walked by and jumped into the hole with him saying, “I have been here before and I know what to do. Let me show you”.

Consider using graduates of previous programmes to mentor new learners through their programme. This can have many positive benefits for both.

In one programme I saw, the mentor was not given their full certificate and pay rise until they had helped another person get through the programme successfully.

My best wishes, Paul
