Article: The Learning Transfer Elephant

Learning Transfer Elephant

The Training Industry magazine has published an article I wrote on one of the elephants I see ignored by L&D: Learning Transfer.

By all means, put people in a training room and give them an amazing experience and top-notch training.

However, no matter how good the training event, arguably, if there is no learning transfer, the training was not successful. So, you must ask the question: Are the trainees effectively using the content presented to them in the training event, and if not, why?

The article points you in the right direction to start adding learning transfer activities to your training courses, whether they are virtual or face-2-face.

Link to the article.

My best wishes, Paul
